There is no place that is noisier and more hectic than a large control room that is managing multiple emergencies. Multiple consoles operators attempting to speak with clients or employees in the field, their voices echoing off the walls, floor, ceiling and desks creating what only can be described as a cacophony. To compensate for the room noise, voices are raised, and the problem exacerbates. After a few hours, efficiency begins to decline and at the end of a long day employees are exhausted, frustrated. There are a variety of commercial acoustic treatments that we use to create a better work space.
